How We Started
The journey of Medias Painting LLC began in 2000, when two ambitious young men, Sorin and Claudiu, arrived in the United States from a small town called Medias, located in Transylvania, Romania. They came through a cultural exchange program to further their education and pursue the American dream.
While facing the financial challenges of studying abroad, Sorin and Claudiu decided to start a painting business to support themselves. What began as a practical solution soon grew into a long-term commitment. While balancing work and school, Sorin earned his masterโs degree in engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, and Claudiu completed his bachelorโs degree in network security at the University of Mary Washington.
After graduation, rather than entering their respective fields, they chose to continue building the business they had invested so much effort into. Over the next 25 years, Medias Painting LLC grew steadily, earning a reputation for quality workmanship, reliability, and professionalism. The company has painted thousands of homes across Central and Northern Virginia, building long-standing relationships with homeowners and businesses alike.
Today, Medias Painting LLC remains grounded in the same values it was founded on: hard work, honesty, and craftsmanship. With more than two decades of experience, Sorin and Claudiu continue to lead the company, offering residential and commercial painting services backed by a satisfaction guarantee and a consistent five-star reputation.
