How We Started
The journey of Medias Painting LLC began in the year 2000, when two ambitious young men, Sorin and Claudiu, arrived in the United States from a small town called Medias, nestled in the heart of Transylvania, Romania. They came through a cultural exchange program to further their education and pursue the American dream.
Facing the financial challenges of studying abroad, Sorin and Claudiu decided to start a painting business to help support themselves. What began as a practical solution soon became a passionate pursuit. While balancing work and studies, Sorin earned his Master's degree in Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, and Claudiu completed his Bachelor's degree in Network Security at the University of Mary Washington.
After graduation, rather than moving into their respective fields, they chose to continue building the business they had poured their hearts into. Over the next 25 years, Medias Painting LLC grew steadily, earning a reputation for exceptional quality, reliability, and professionalism. The company has painted thousands of homes across Central and Northern Virginia, leaving behind a trail of vibrant walls and satisfied customers.
